I'm drawn to furniture pieces that look like they've stepped out of a two-hundred year old book. Or, even better, from The Shire in The Lord of the Rings.  Each and every piece is hand-built in my shop on Thorn Hill in Sebastopol, CA. 

In addition to woodworking, you can also find me moonlighting as an adjunct English professor at Santa Rosa Junior College, driving my kids to and fro around Sonoma County, and hanging out with my Romney sheep.
